Matt Green
Matt was born and raised in Central Louisiana, where he developed the values of hard work, service, and respect that have guided his professional career. He began his professional journey serving five years in the United States Marine Corps as an intelligence specialist, including two deployments to Afghanistan. Following his military service, Matt served as a police officer, Field Training Officer, and member of an Emergency Response Team, where he further developed his leadership skills, decision-making abilities, and commitment to serving others.
Matt joined Baker Roofing in 2018 and held leadership roles across the company's Preconstruction, Training, and Operations divisions. Through these experiences, he developed a comprehensive understanding of the construction industry while helping drive operational efficiency, employee development, and organizational growth. His work across multiple disciplines provided a unique perspective on project execution, team leadership, and customer success.
Today, Matt brings that experience to the general contracting sector, where he is focused on delivering exceptional project outcomes through collaboration, strategic planning, and operational excellence. His transition from a specialized trade contractor to a general contractor reflects his passion for taking a broader role in the construction process and creating value for clients throughout every stage of a project.
Known for his dedication to developing people and building strong teams, Matt is passionate about embracing a culture of continuous improvement, fostering collaboration, and delivering exceptional results for customers, employees, and stakeholders alike.
Outside of work, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, their two dogs, Penny and Dexter, and pursuing his passion for golf.
